What to Wear to an Outdoor Restaurant This Summer
Headed to an outdoor restaurant? I’ve compiled five outfits to consider for inspiration when dining out. Before making a reservation, ensure that all employees are required to wear masks, all tables are at least six feet apart, and each table is cleaned thoroughly between each party. While dining, remember to tip generously and wear a mask when interacting with restaurant staff.
Outfit 1: Laid Back Chic
Pairing distressed high-waisted denim shorts with a puff-sleeve top is the ultimate way to look cool without trying too hard in 2020. Complete this look with black accessories and a bandana patterned face mask.
Outfit 2: Floral Dreams
Headed to an outdoor restaurant by the ocean or in a garden? You can never go wrong with a floral midi dress and tan accessories. Since it is summertime, why not rock a pair of platform wedges? Dainty gold jewelry will perfectly complement this type of outfit.
Outfit 3: Retro Vibes
If you’re planning on taking pictures at the restaurant, have a little fun with your outfit by taking inspiration from the past! This look is inspired by the 1970’s with high waisted bell bottoms, a bright top, and round sunglasses. Block heel slide sandals are easy and chic. With so many face masks online with fun patterns, you can easily find one that has the retro vibe you’re going for!
Outfit 4: Girly Girl
This is your perfect rooftop outfit. I love pairing a feminine dress with a pair of sneakers. Not only is it such a popular trend right now, it can also make any dress, no matter how fancy, wearable in more casual settings. This woven bag from KAYU is so perfect for summer (make sure to keep hand sanitizer in your bag at all times). Major points for matching your face mask to your dress!
Outfit 5: Everyday Casual
Headed to a more casual establishment? Elevate your typical high-waisted denim look with an asymmetrical top. Cropped hoodies add to a more put together outfit and make chilly summer nights so much more comfortable. Birkenstocks are my go-to casual sandals. Although they are known to be pricey, these shoes seriously last for years and have great arch support.
