Your New Favorite At-Home Workout
The weather is getting warmer, and we’re all growing impatient. Our bodies are happiest in motion, so to curb your restlessness, I’m sharing one of my favorite at-home workouts that is both quick and effective. Choose from one of two options based on your overall fitness level and desired time commitment. Check them out below!
What you’ll need:
Yoga mat
Timer
Water
Jump rope (optional)
Option #1: 15-minute Abs
8 exercises, 30s each
Crunches
Russian twists
Toe taps
Ab bike toe taps
Ankle taps
Side to side dips
Side high plank oblique crunch
L holds (alternating leg drops)
Repeat these 8 exercises 3 times, giving yourself a 45 second break in between sets.
After each set, hold a 1 minute plank or two 30 second side planks on each side.
Option #2: 30-minute HIIT
Follow the circuit above, and add 30s jump rope, high knees, jump squat, or burpees between each exercise.
