Here at C&W we love a good workout class. Even when traveling (before the pandemic, of course) we are always making time to try out a new class, wherever we are. Here are some of our favorite workout classes around the world.

1Rebel

United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia

This fitness studio offers SoulCycle-style spin classes and boxing classes, as well as treadmill bootcamp classes that are sure to kick your butt. The studios are modern and industrial, the bathrooms are stocked with amenities, and you can order a smoothie before class that will be ready and waiting for you to refuel after class. This is a London hotspot that is sure to kick you into shape.

SoulCycle

Several Major US Cities

SoulCycle isn’t considered a cult classic for nothing! These high-energy, dark, loud, rhythmic spin classes have garnered quite the following in the 15 years since its creation. You can often be on the bike next to a celebrity, and the most popular instructors are celebrities in their own right. SoulCycle can be found in many cities across the country, and is now international since launching in London just over a year ago. Get ready to sweat it out to the beat of the coolest music--if you’re lucky enough to get a bike in your desired class, that is.

F45

Australia, USA, UK

Based around the concept of team training, the energy during an F45 workout is unmatched. Everyone in the room is pushing one another to be their very best, as heart rate monitors are worn to gain points and compete with your classmates throughout. Each day, a different 45 minute class is offered, alternating between strength workouts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, cardio workouts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and (our personal favorite) an hour-long hybrid class on Saturdays. With multiple stations to choose from within each workout as well, you’re almost guaranteed to never get bored of F45. Fair warning: be ready to sweat it OUT.

Studio B

Los Angeles, USA

Studio B is Bandier’s gorgeous in-house workout facility above their Melrose Avenue store location in LA. Offering a wide range of exclusive celebrity-instructor-developed classes, this is the perfect studio for anyone who likes to change up their workouts often. Classes range from Yoga and Dance Cardio to High Intensity Interval Training and Kickboxing! No membership packages are offered, as each trainer prices their classes uniquely, so there’s no need for any commitment. When traveling to LA, a class at Studio B is always on our itinerary. Ok, and maybe a stop at Coffee Dose afterwards.

Pure Barre

USA, Germany

If you like to feel the burn, Pure Barre is for you. With four group class formats to choose from, there is a class for every exercise background and skill level. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned ballerina, you’ll complete an effective total-body barre workout focused on low impact, high-intensity movements that lift and tone muscles, improve strength and agility, and increase flexibility. Oh, and by effective, we mean extreme-next-day-soreness effective. But hey, did you really workout if it’s easy to get out of bed the next morning? At Pure Barre, you truly get out what you put in.

Barry’s Bootcamp

North America, Europe, Middle East, Australia

Founded in 1998 in West Hollywood, Barry’s Bootcamp has been coined “The Best Workout in the World”. A combination of treadmill and strength work paired with the Red Room lights (which make everyone look amazing and seriously toned) and carefully curated playlists (where the beat drop always syncs perfectly with the start of a sprint), Barry’s is an amazing workout for getting stronger overall.

Rumble Boxing

Several Major US Cities

When we want to feel like Rocky, this is our spot. Classes at Rumble are designed like a traditional boxing match: 10-rounds, 45 minutes long and filled with energy. Feel the beat of the music blasting around you as you complete this perfect mix of HIIT, resistance training and technique building. You’ll quickly learn the boxing basics, as half of the class is dedicated to boxing drills and sequences, and the other half is spent toning and building muscle through resistance training. While learning how to throw a solid punch is great, the wraps they have for purchase are super cute too … if you needed any extra convincing.
