It’s hard to believe that it’s been a whole year since C&W began.
As quickly as the time flew, it is pretty astonishing how much our team has accomplished over the last 12 months. Join us as we “travel through time” and reminisce on some of our favorite moments that were made possible by the digital magazine for the girl who does it all.
May 2020
May 14th, 2020. Who remembers Issue One: Cool Girls Stay Home? What started as a concept in the minds of recent college graduates, looking to make good use of their time upon being uprooted from New York City, has since blossomed into an amazing community of writers, interns and Instagram followers alike.
June 2020
Our first ever ‘Behind the Brand’ interview with one of our absolute favorite sustainable brands, Tiller Swim. Connecting with inspiring entrepreneurs and featuring small brands truly became the backbone of our publication.
July 2020
We “caught up” with The Bachelor star Kiarra Norman! Given that The Bachelor is a team-favorite reality TV show, we couldn’t forget getting this opportunity to get the inside scoop on all of the Season 24 drama.
The C&W Founders also took a trip to Martha’s Vineyard in July! Obviously, this one is more personally-relevant than anything, but we think it’s notable to mention that this was the first team reunion since our college days. Not to mention, a pretty great travel guide came out of this team getaway.
August 2020
More Tiller Swim & Hellisoy cocktails. The end of August housed our second collaboration with Tiller Swim, which made its debut in late-September’s Issue Ten: All About Fall. During the photoshoot in NYC, we also visited Thyme & Tonic for cocktails made with Hellisoy Vodka, another team-favorite brand.
September 2020
Possibly our favorite issue to-date, Issue Eight: High Fashion Highlight featured some of the hottest new talent in the fashion industry. Containing interviews with editor and stylist Caroline Vazzana, high-fashion model Cho Seward and Making the Cut designer Sander Bos, this issue was a dream come true for our fashion-loving team.

If you remember Issue Eleven: The Pink Issue, you’ll know that October was all about women. This issue contained far too many inspiring stories to name them all, so you’ll just have to re-read this one to refresh your memory. Also, how could anyone forget the phenomenal custom cover, designed by @BeKindBella?

The College Editorial Program begins! With the team growing quickly, we made room for all of the amazing student writers and graphic designers that would join the C&W family this month. Know a college student who loves to write? Send them our way!
December 2020
C&W viewership reaches new levels. With everyone in the spirit of the season, Issue Fifteen: C&W's Ultimate Gift Guide featured all of the holiday gift inspiration anyone could possibly need, hitting record viewership numbers in the process!
January 2021
This month was that reset we all needed. Issues Seventeen, Eighteen and Nineteen all came out in January, and each one followed a theme of realigning with goals, putting the past behind, practicing self-care, and cutting out the unnecessary clutter - both physically and metaphorically. If you’re ever in need of a more relaxing read, the January issues are your go-tos.
February 2021
The season of love! We loved February because our phenomenal team of writers got to share their personal stories about relationships, self-love and the true meaning of “soulmates” in Issue Twenty. Talking with TikTok’s Kirstie Taylor was pretty great too.
March 2021
City girls at heart, we couldn’t not mention Issue Twenty-One: From NY to LA. Readers and writers on both coasts came together to brag about all of the amazing things that their cities have to offer. Call it agreeing to disagree?
April 2021
In April, we tried new things. We decided to challenge our team of Contributing Writers with a far more abstract Issue Twenty-Three. Needless to say, they knocked it out of the park, and we were able to pull off our most creative issue yet!
May 2021
Here we are: one whole trip around the sun and so much to show for it. We love the month of May for obvious reasons, and be sure to check out our TikTok and this article to see just how we celebrated it!
