This is the mother of all fashion movies.  The movie stars Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, the editor- in- chief of Runway, a fictional magazine based on Vogue in the early 2000s.  Anne Hathaway plays her assistant, a job referred to as one “a million girls would kill for.”  An unfashionable bookworm, Hathaway’s character could not appear more wrong for the job.  The story follows her struggle to keep up with Priestly’s demands in her first year as an assistant.

Ocean’s Eight (2018)

This Ocean’s 11 remake focuses on a team of criminals banding together in an attempt to steal a $150-million dollar necklace during the middle of the Met Gala.  The movie features a star studded, all-female cast, with Sandra Bullock leading the team.  Costume designer Sarah Edward outdid herself creating 8 distinctive wardrobes for all of the women, including each of their Met Gala looks.  This is a must see for any fashion lover.

Hulu

This comedy-slasher show followed the sorority sisters of Kappa Kappa Tau at the fictional Wallace University as the school faces a series of murders connected to the sorority house.  The dedication to style is practically cultish with the writers even going so far as to name the show group of mean girls “The Chanels.”  The pink fur jackets, coordinated group ensembles and endless accessories - this one is a must-watch.
