It’s Not Water: Pomegranate Martini
This martini is festive and fresh, a nice change from the usual sweet and spicy flavors of the season. Garnished with pomegranate seeds, rosemary, and a lemon twist, this drink is pretty without trying too hard. This is also the perfect drink to batch make in a pitcher, and then just pour into rimmed glasses.
Ingredients:
3 oz of vodka
3 oz of cointreau
6 oz of pomegranate juice
Juice of ½ a lemon
Rosemary for garnish
Lemon peel for garnish
Pomegranate seeds for garnish
Sugar for rim
Instructions:
Pour vodka, cointreau, pomegranate juice and lemon juice over ice and shake or stir. Rim two martini glasses with lemon juice then dip in granulated sugar. Strain the drink into the glasses, then garnish with lemon peel, sprigs of rosemary, and pomegranate seeds. Cheers!
