It’s Not Water: Boozy Hot Chocolate Kit
When you’re not quite sure what to get an adult in your life, alcohol is usually the answer. But, your family members may look at you strangely if you gift a handle of vodka. Instead, put together these easy and cute boozy hot chocolate kits, and you will have the perfect white elephant, person-you-don’t-know-that-well, or hostess gift ready to go.
First, rummage through your wrapping paper closet or take a trip to Target to get cute packaging supplies. I got a paper gift box, tissue paper, little baggies, and a gift tag that all followed the same color scheme. If you don’t already own these items, most can be found in the $1-$5 section in Target.
Then, for the actual gift, I included two hot chocolate stirring sticks (also found at Target) that dissolve to make hot chocolate when you stir them into hot milk. I also added a few festive peppermint marshmallows, a candy cane for stirring, and a cute drinking-themed ornament. You could also include a personal mug with their initial on it. Then, to make this hot chocolate kit boozy, add nips for your recipient to spike their drinks. I added a little bottle of Bailey’s, and Smirnoff whipped cream flavored vodka. A peppermint vodka would also go perfectly!
There is no exact recipe for this gift, but get creative and add in whatever you’d like. Then, package it thoughtfully and the person you’re giving this to will be impressed. This whole gift costs less than $10, and is so thoughtful and fun!
