The Best Secret Santa Gifts for Every Price Range

Secret Santa is always a cute idea in theory, but when you resort to gifting the same pair of fuzzy socks every year, it can go a bit stale.

To your credit, it can be extremely difficult to find a gift that doesn’t feel junky within a confined budget, but I’m here to tell you that it is not impossible. Whether you’re looking for a gift to bring to an office exchange or a higher-budget Secret Santa with your extended family, I’ve listed some of the best gifts you can give that are far more unique than the norm and less likely to find themselves at the bottom of a waste basket this holiday season. Check them out below!

Under $15

Nobody is expecting an elaborate gesture within this particular budget, but that doesn’t mean you can’t give a gift with some personal value. Aim for practicality within this range, or give something small that holds additional sentimental value.

Under $30

This might be one of the more difficult price ranges to buy within, as you don’t want to appear to be gifting too little, but you also don’t want to get caught up buying junk just to fill up the bag. Look for deals on gift sets or take some extra time looking for something you know will make your secret recipient smile.

Under $50

The options open up a bit more here, so lets narrow it back down to the gifts worth giving.

Under $100

This one is fun. There is a lot of room for creativity within this range, as you can choose to go for a more significant single item or a collection of coordinated smaller gifts.

$100+

Although there is far less restriction within this range, it can actually be more difficult to choose when the stakes are higher - especially if you pulled the name of someone that you’re not quite as close with as others. The best thing to consider here is the person’s style that you’re buying the gift for. I don’t recommend actually buying clothing unless you know their sizes; however, a more laid back style vs. more careful outfit planning can tell a lot about someone’s personality type.
