With locations in California, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Connecticut, Terrain is a must-visit when shopping for pumpkins, fall flowers, house plants, candles, and more!
Living in New York City, I make plans every year to take a train up to Westport, Connecticut to shop all things autumn at the Anthropologie-owned plant and home decor mecca, and sip on a sweet pumpkin spice latte while I’m there. First I stop at the cafe—reservations aren’t required but definitely a good idea on weekends. Their menu changes seasonally so there’s always something new and seasonally appropriate to try (regardless of the season, the brioche french toast is a must).
After fueling up for your day of fall shopping, be sure to check all of the must-have fall decor items off your list. Terrain is most known for its plants and flowers, so of course you’ll want to stock up on mums and cold-weather plants. In addition to your greenhouse finds, be sure to check out their collection of freshly picked pumpkins and gourds, dried herb and flower bundles, fall candles, and bulb light decorations. Terrain has everything you need to make your home comfy cozy for autumn, and the trip makes for a super fun and festive day with friends!
