This pink, wine-based drink is sweet, light, and perfect for Valentine’s Day, even if rosé is your only soulmate.

Normally, any drink that contains wine and some sort of sparkling water can be classified as a wine spritzer. We kicked this spritzer up a notch by adding vodka, and a whisper of flavor from strawberries and basil. Take your normal glass of rosé to the next level with this recipe.

In a shaker with ice, mix the juice of half a lemon, 2 ounces of vodka, strawberries, and torn basil. Shake this well in order to break down the basil and strawberries to infuse their flavors. Strain and pour into two wine glasses.

Pour your rosé of choice over the infused vodka. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a basil leaf and rose petals.
