It's Not Water: Green Tea Shots

I’m sure you’ve heard of green tea shots before, and, if you’re over the age of 21, you might have even taken one.

If you’re in this population, you probably know that green tea shots aren't made with green tea, don’t taste like green tea, and actually have nothing to do with the antioxidant-filled health drink. These shots are a delicious little burst of flavor that get their name from their green color. So, if you’re trying to act like you’re sticking to your new year's resolutions but want to feel a buzz, make these and then just tell people you’ve been drinking green tea. It’s sort of true!

Ingredients (makes 2 shots)

1 ounce of whiskey (we used Jameson because the recipe was created by them)

1 ounce of peach schnapps

1 ounce of sour mix

Lemonade or Sprite to top it off

Instructions

Pour your whiskey, peach schnapps, and sour mix into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake it until it’s cold, and strain it into two shot glasses. Then, top with a small splash of lemonade or Sprite. Cheers!
